Dr. Gunn Presented at FCBIS

Dr. Gunn traveled to Baltimore on May 4th to present at this years Frontiers in Chemistry and Biology Interface Symposium (FCBIS). This year the confrence was at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). It was a great one day conference with lots of interesting science! The rainy weather was a perfect excuse to stay inside and enjoy the conference. Dr. Gunn gave her talk at the end of the day titled “Cryogenic Electron Tomography Reveals Lipoprotein Lipase Vesicular Storage Structure”. It was a great opportunity to share her latest work using cryoET and subtomogram averaging to characterize LPL structure in situ. Beyond the science it was also great to catch up with new and old friends in the science community!
