Welcome to the Gunn Lab’s First Postdoc!

We are very happy to introduce the second full time member of the Gunn Lab - Dr. Dana Díaz Jiménez! Dana joined the lab at the beginning of February and is off to a great start. Dana earned her doctorate in Life Sciences at the University of Strasbourg in France. Before that, she did both her BS and MS at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). During her graduate work, Dana used biochemistry, X-ray crystallography, and cryoEM to investigate subunit binding to the nucleotide core particle. In the Gunn lab, Dana is going to be tackling cell culture, immunofluoresence microscopy, and cryoET.
