Biochemistry and Cell Biology Retreat 2024

It was a beautiful day for the SBU Biochemistry and Cell Biology Department retreat at the Port Jefferson Country Club. You could see all the way to Connecticut from the balcony! We got to hear amazing talks from other faculty and trainees in the department about the exciting research happening in our neighboring labs. Dr. Gunn also gave a talk about her postdoctoral research and plans for the Gunn Lab. The day wrapped up with an awesome poster session, where we got to see and hear about so much great research. We’re already looking forward to next years retreat.
