The Gunn Lab’s First Technician!

We are very happy to introduce the first full time member of the Gunn Lab - Thomas Whitbread! Tom started at the beginning of June as a lab technician. Tom comes to the Gunn Lab after earning his masters degree at St. John’s University. He also did his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University - so he knows more about the campus than Dr. Gunn! Tom is bringing his expertise in tissue culture and western blotting to the lab - and we’re excited to help him learn the ropes of single particle cryoEM.
