Welcome to our Second Rotation Student!

The Gunn Lab is thrilled to welcome our second rotation student, Azadeh Mahdavinia! Azadeh, who also goes by Azi, is a PhD student in the Biochemistry and Structural Biology Program, who will be in the lab this winter. During her rotation Azi is learning negative stain transmission electron microscopy and using it to visualize higher order protein oligomers on grids. She’s also been tackling some computational prediction of homo-oligomers using alphafold!
