Welcome to our Fall Rotation Student!

The Gunn Lab welcomes our very first rotation student! Hatice Baysal is a PhD student in the Biochemistry and Structural Biology Program, who will be in the lab for 12 weeks this fall. Hatice comes to the lab with experience working with purified proteins, so, of course, we’re teaching her tissue culture! Another cool fact about Hatice is that she was awarded the Turner Fellowship this year - which is from the Center for Inclusive Education at Stony Brook. We can’t wait to see what Hatice accomplishes next!
